2008 Haas TM 3HE

The Haas TM-3HE is a high-precision vertical CNC machining center designed for industrial environments that require flexibility, reliability and productivity in machining operations for medium and large workpieces. Equipped with a 4,000 RPM CT40 spindle, the TM-3HE offers excellent performance in milling, drilling, boring and tapping operations, allowing work with a wide variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and technical plastics.

Its generous worktable of 1,430 x 370 mm and travels of 1,015 mm in X, 508 mm in Y and 526 mm in Z provide the capacity needed to machine long parts and complex geometries in a single setup, optimizing production times and reducing operating costs.

The machine incorporates advanced productivity features such as synchronized tapping (Rigid Tapping) for high-precision threading operations, spindle orientation M19, and the IPS (Intuitive Programming System) system, which facilitates conversational programming directly from the Haas control, reducing setup times and improving operator efficiency.

With rapid traverse speeds of up to 10.2 m/min, the TM-3HE helps minimize downtime between operations and maximize utilization of the machining cycle. The unit also includes a coolant tray and cooling pump, essential elements to maintain thermal stability of the process, improve surface finish of the parts, and extend the life of cutting tools.

Thanks to its compact and robust design, with approximate transport dimensions of 1,700 x 2,000 x 2,200 mm and a weight of 2,300 kg, this machine offers an excellent balance between machining capacity and floor-space utilization in the plant.
